I am so excited for this!! It was with out a doubt one of my favorite books growing up. I was that dorky kid who was always going on imaginary adventures. Not to mention, it's directed by Spike Jonze!
Surprisingly it made me really sad. For the first time ever, I empathized with George Bush. I think it's important to separate people from politics. Maybe I'm still young and naive, but I want to believe that everyone sets out with the best intentions, even if it doesn't end well.
I like to pretend my life is like a Woody Allen film. Black and white. Jazz. Witty dialogue. Neurotic characters. Love. Tragedy. Hate. Passion. Intellect.
I love those movies that stay with you for days, the feelings still lingering. The Reader was magnificent. Tragic and heart-wrenching, I have not seen such passion in a movie in a long time. It was the perfect end to a rainy day.
